Christmas Program: Mission Possible
Trip, an "Almost Angel Agent", is desperately trying to earn
his promotion to Triple A Agent. Agent 99, an older, more experienced
Triple A Agent, guides Trip through various assignments that will
earn him his AAA award. These angel agents, along with HC, Agent
97, and Agent 110, are key messengers of the Almighty to the humans
on earth as the story of Christ's birth unfolds. Initially, these
Angel Agents are invisible to those humans involved kirectly in
the events of Christ's birth, (the Bethlehem Kids) but later reveal
themselves. The musical takes a bit of a humorous twist in Herod's
court, yet reflects the struggle of evil versus good involved
in Christ's birth.
In this contemporary musical centering on the events of Christ's
birth we hear sounds reminiscent of the "Mission IMpossible" theme.
However, in striking contrast we see that because God, the Almighty,
is the orchestrator of Christ's birth, the theme is "Mission POSSIBLE".

The choir did a wonderful job of singing their songs. In some
scenes the choir was smaller, as kids played their part in the
musical.
