On December 15, 2000 the students of NSMS performed their Christmas program, Mission Possible.
On February 16th, 2001 all the students participated in the third annual Pinewood Derby Race.
In March 2001 the community participated in an event called the Pioneer Days Picnic.
Eighth grade and Kindergarten graduation was held on May 18, 2001. All the students also participated in a variety of musical presentations.
