Quesla: World Traveler

QueslaTuesday afternoon Quesla went on a city tour of Cusco. She visited a cathedral which was built right on top of Inca ruins. This was done by the conquerers of the Inca, who wanted to cover up everything that was built by the Inca.

Quesla also went to Sacsayhuaman, an Inca ruin and ceremonial site. Some rocks weighed as much as 130 tons, and were fitted together with amazing precision. She visited the temples of the sun, moon, lightning, and Venus.

Quesla had a close call on a sacrafice rock! This picture shows Quesla laying on a rock which was used to sacrafice llamas. The trough was used to collect the blood.

Later she went horseback riding at sunset. She was able to go to a place which overlooked the city of Puka Pukara, which guards the Tambo Machay (water temple).
