Mobilizing National Believers in Asia Pacific To Launch Radio Ministries
HCJB Global comes alongside local believers and indigenous Christian organizations as partners to mobilize them to begin and sustain missionary radio ministries by conducting training in radio broadcasting technical skills, program production, and administration and leadership principles
We assist them to secure the necessary equipment, provide technical advice and installation – and then we mentor and encourage the Christians as they operate the radio ministries that touch the hearts of people in their communities.
Predominately Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim and animists, the 3.7 billion people of Asia Pacific search for answers to life’s questions in religions that offer little hope. Many have never met a Christian. Some have never even heard the name of Jesus.
Yet because of our partnership with local believers and church-planting groups in this region, radio is reaching out to millions with the Good News of Jesus Christ and speaking to the issues of their lives through programs about local healthcare, agricultural or business tips, family relationships, parenting and music that uplifts their spirits.
HCJB Global’s goal is to plant 20 FM community radio stations with partners in Asia Pacific this year. Our highest priorities are in Thailand, Indonesia and Nepal.
The impact of using radio as an evangelism tool in Asia Pacific has been staggering. In Indonesia alone, our primary partner reports that 20 people PER DAY make a decision to receive Christ as Savior through their network of 45 radio stations.
Will you join with local partners to reach the millions in Asia Pacific through radio?
