Transforming Hearts and Communities in Africa
Since 1997, HCJB Global has collaborated with local African Christians to plant and develop 67 community FM radio stations throughout the continent. Most of these radio ministries target listeners who perhaps have never even heard of Jesus or met a Christian.
We encourage these partners to initiate healthcare projects to meet the physical and spiritual needs of those in their surrounding areas. Clean-water installations and mobile medical outreaches to rural villages are resulting in dramatic changes as people receive not only physical care, but also hear about God’s Love through His servants.
Workshops to train radio staff in the principles of WASH (Water And Sanitation, Hygiene) and health-education radio programs complement the personal outreaches.
“Our radio partners in Africa are vital in communicating life-changing principles of sanitation and hygiene. Radio is the most direct avenue to transform communities in the remote regions. We send teams into villages, but we cannot reach them all. Radio will go where we cannot.
HCJB Global wants many more communities and hearts to be transformed. There are plans to launch new FM radio stations in Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Guinea-Bissau, Niger and South Sudan — and other opportunities God supplies — in the next year.
We are eager to expand the rural healthcare outreaches, clean-water projects and training of village healthcare educators with radio partners throughout Africa who have a great passion and vision to reach their communities for Christ by being the voice and hands of Jesus in Africa.
Will you join HCJB Global and these local Christ-followers to bring God’s Love to Africa through radio ministries and healthcare outreaches?
