Pray for Jim Estes as he assumes the responsibility of directing Hospital Vozandes-Quito, a 76-bed hospital operated by HCJB Global Hands in Ecuador’s capital city since 1955. Praise God for the opportunity to serve more than 300,000 patients in the last year, guiding nearly 1,000 of these to faith in Christ.

Medical Team from Ecuador Helping in Haiti | 2010-09-02 | Latin American
Pray as an eight-member medical team from Ecuador visits earthquake-ravaged Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The team is working with Samaritan’s Purse at a clinic in Cité Soleil, a huge poverty-stricken shantytown in the capital city’s metro area. Pray for team members’ safety in what could be an unstable situation.

Praise God for protecting Esther Neufeld, a German broadcaster with Vozandes Media (formerly HCJB Global’s German Language Service), after experiencing some criminal attacks in Quito. Pray for safety, strength and joy in her work. Pray also as she serves on the missions committee at Iñaquito Evangelical Church.

Pray as Teresa teaches at Elkhart Christian Academy where our daughter Lizzie attends. Our older daughter, Valerie, is a sophomore at Grace College. The future is in His hands and we’re trusting Him for it.” John serves as purchasing agent and shipping coordinator for the HCJB Global Technology Center.
