Most of us are used to celebrating Christmas in some fashion or other. We've heard the story of Christmas: how Jesus was born in a manger, to the virgin Mary and how He, the Son of God, was sent to earth to save people from their sins.

There are many kids in this world who have never heard that story! HCJB World Radio is trying to reach those kids to tell them the good news that Jesus loves them and came to save them. Some of those kids live in the streets of Ecuador. Many of them don't have parents, so they stay together. Often sleeping in bunches of 40 or 50 kids, just to keep warm during the cold Quito nights.

Every year at Christmastime, HCJB World Radio has a party for these kids. They are given gifts (to many the only gift they've ever received!), and food as well as basic things like soap and tooth brushes. They play games and they hear stories about Jesus. Many of these children have come to know Jesus as their Savior through these parties.
