What is a TCK?

A TCK is a "third culture kid." TCKs are kids who grow up in a culture different from their parents. For example, if a kid is from Canada and his parents go to Africa – he’s a TCK. He develops a third "culture" that is not Canadian and not African, but a mix of both, creating a culture all his own! TCKs can be military kids, missionary kids, or international business kids.

HCJB World Radio has TCKs. Most of our MKs (missionary kids) attend the Alliance Academy or the Nate Saint Memorial School in Ecuador. The rest are scattered around the world.
