Morocco is located in the far northwestern corner of Africa. It is isolated from the rest of the continent by the Atlas Mountains and Sahara Desert. It borders the countries of Mauritania and Algeria. It also borders the Mediterranian Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Because of its location, Morocco has tropical beaches, highland valleys as well as mountains and desert. It really is a land of contrast! The climate is is dry, although there is a rainy season from November to March. |
