Who's Jesus? Jesus is the Son of God. He loves us so much that he died for us because he knew we could never be good enough to get to heaven on our own. Because he was perfect he could pay the price of our sin – and he did just that by dying and then rising from the dead. Because he had victory over death, he can now give us eternal life. Here’s what the Bible says about Jesus: For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 Jesus answered, "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 |
