Empowering Indonesian Believers for Effective Radio Outreach
Radio School of Mission began in 2005 as a two-week course to train HCJB Global’s Christian partners in Asia Pacific for effective radio ministries.
It has been a great success, but typically only station managers could attend (and those who could study in English). In both March and October of 2010,
Radio School of Mission will be held in Indonesia – with instruction in Indonesian. Indonesian Christian radio producers who have completed the training
in the past will be part of the faculty. Topics like program production, audience research, leadership and financial administration empower these believers
to make a greater impact in their communities through their stations. Participants will also work on a research assignment at their home ministry base with
an email mentor to offer advice and encouragement.
$3,100 will fund a scholarship for one Indonesian believer to attend this
training including materials and travel for the trainers.
