Partnering with Local Believers To Launch Christian Radio in Their Own Communities
Since 1989, HCJB Global has been “radio planting” around the world – partnering with local believers who recognize the great impact that radio can have sharing the gospel in their communities. We empower these national Christians by providing the transmitters and antennas they could seldom afford to launch the local FM radio station. Our staff also conducts training about how to produce effective evangelism and discipleship programs and how to manage the station. We’ve collaborated with over 200 partners in over 100 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America, and more than 350 stations have been planted. Mentoring and advanced instruction often continue, and sometimes we help again with replacements for damaged equipment or the opportunity to increase listener coverage through upgraded tools. We treasure this opportunity to partner with local believers and to see the harvests resulting from this radio planting project.
