When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none ... I the God of Israel will not forsake them. Isaiah 41:17

clean water projects

Water - the very foundation of life, is a gift from God often taken for granted. Yet for many people in less developed countries access to this precious resource is limited. Worldwide, more than a billion people have no access to improved water sources, while nearly two and a half billion live without basic sanitation. These people rank among the poorest in the world - as well as the least healthy. Contaminated water transmits 80 per cent of infectious disease in the developing world.

The Clean Water Projects team helps South American communities improve their health through better hygiene habits, safe water and sanitation. Our goal is to facilitate communities in modelling Biblical values and improved health to those around them. Training in water system management and hygiene are integral to the program as are evangelism, discipleship and pastoral training.

Please take a few moments to find out a little more about who we are, what we are doing, the results and even how you can get involved.
