navigation bar Topsy Turtle (cont.)

Topsy Turtle sat on a rock in the middle of the pond. She stretched her head out, basking in the sun. That was her favorite spot to sit and sun herself.

If anyone tried to take Topsy's rock, she would snap at them! Because of that, Topsy didn't have very many friends. She didn't really care though, as long as she got her spot!

Topsy turned her head and eyed a green frog that was looking at her from the reeds at the edge of the pond.

"What are YOU looking at?" She snapped.

"Did you know there is a bigger rock just up on the bank?" the frog croaked.

Topsy craned her neck to look up the bank. Sure enough, there was a huge rock, warmed by the sun.

Topsy eyed the frog warily, then made a decision. She swam off her rock and headed for the bigger one on the bank. After all, bigger was better, right?
