I want to be a farmer when I grow up – just like my dad! When my dad was younger he
and his friends went out to the King’s fields and harvested a beautiful crop. He came
out and said we locusts are like an army! Oh! You should see the King. I saw him once with
my dad. You would never believe it if I would tell you about the king."
Lemuel Lizard gazed out the window of the clubhouse with a far away look in his eye. What would it be like to see the King? Lemmy wondered and wondered. "What are you going to do, Lemmy, when you grow up?" Lonny asked. "There is only one thing I want. I want to see the King. I want to see the King, and I don’t want to wait until I grow up. I am going right now. I want to see the King in all of his glory." He burst out with all of the longing in his little lizard heart. |
