Dr. Irina had a unique vision for being the Hands of Jesus in Ukraine. While many of the systems communism set up to care for the people have disappeared, the elderly and widows have not.
Because she saw so many elderly in great need, she founded Light to the Lonely, to perform healthcare ministry in Ukraine. Dr. Irina together with HCJB Global has been working since 2005 to train staff, construct the facility and prepare for the chance to serve Ukraines elderly.
Finally, the center was dedicated on Saturday, April 19, 2008. Romans 15:4 says, . . . that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
