Passionate Discipleship: In recognition of Christ's call to "go and make disciples of all nations," God gives us the privilege of discipling the people whom our ministry touches and those who work with us. We proactively invest ourselves in the lives of these people so that they become Disciples of Christ who follow and serve Him, resulting in greater kingdom impact
(Matthew 28:18-20, NIV).
Biblical Faith: Our faith in Christ is the foundation of our motivation and the determining factor in our decision making. We are a belief-based people. We have experienced His touch and long for others to experience it as well (Romans 5:1, 2).
People: We act on the conviction that people are created in the image of God, and we understand that the only lasting investment is impacting the lives of people (1 Peter 2:9).
Integrity: We believe that honesty, openness and transparency with others and ourselves are the foundation stones for trust and the essential building blocks of effective ministry (Psalm 25:21).
Servant Leadership: We believe that we are servant leaders in our respective areas of responsibility. We value and are committed to lead by serving and empowering others (Matthew 20:26-28).
Partnership: The body of Christ is to be a model of individuals with a variety of gifts working together to accomplish God's purposes in the world. We believe we must work together with other groups, transcending organizational, geographic and cultural boundaries to accomplish the mission to which we have been called (Philippians 1:4-6).
Effective Service: We acknowledge that God holds us accountable as stewards of the resources, gifts and talents He has provided. We understand our ultimate calling is obedience to God and to be faithful in the ministry
(1 Corinthians 16:9).
Innovation: Recognizing that we live and minister in a dynamic and ever-changing world, we continually seek improved ways of carrying out our mission
(1 Corinthians 9:22b).
Celebration: We rejoice because we understand that all we are and all we have comes from God (Psalm 145:7).
Statement of Faith
...in one God, existing in a Trinity of persons—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—who are eternal and of equal dignity and power.
...that the Bible is the Word of God, verbally inspired and without error as originally written, and that it is the only infallible rule of faith and practice for the Christian.
...in Jesus Christ-conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary-whose death on the cross for the redemption of sinners provided a sufficient and complete propitiation for their sin and guilt, and who rose again for our justification, ascended into heaven, and is now seated on the right hand of the Father, interceding for all those who come unto God by Him. All who believe in and receive the Lord Jesus Christ have eternal life; those who do not will be eternally lost. We wait for the "blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ," and we believe that all things shall finally be subjected to God through Him.
...that the true church - which is the body of Christ - is formed by the work of the Holy Spirit in all those who trust Christ as their Savior.
...that in view of Christ's last command, and recognizing the lost condition of all those who fail to accept the gospel message, we believe in the urgency of every Christian's responding to the Great Commission of Christ.
