HCJB Global is blessed with a highly trained personnel with nearly 1,000 staff members worldwide, including about 300 missionaries and 700 employees who represent some 30 countries. Many of HCJB Global's missionaries serve in bi-vocational ministry with professions such as radio program producers, IT workers, radio trainers, engineers, technicians, doctors, nurses, therapists, community development workers, journalists, pastors, school teachers and administrators.
The largest contingent of workers is in the Latin America Region with nearly 600 employees and missionaries, primarily in Ecuador. The HCJB Global Ministry Service Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., is home to about 60 workers while some 41 staff members serve at the HCJB Global Technology Center in Elkhart, Ind. Additional staff serve at Regional Offices in Asia Pacific (18), Europe/Eurasia (6), North Africa/Middle East (about 10) and Sub-Saharan Africa (7). There are also staff members at the mission's World Offices in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Wayne Pederson - President

As a longtime media professional, Wayne Pederson has a passion for reaching the lost through technology tools. In past roles, Wayne focused on media ministry in local communities through his years with Northwestern College Radio and Moody Broadcasting. He has also taken a national stage, serving with National Religious Broadcasters, Christian Music Broadcasters and Mission America.
As president of HCJB Global, Wayne is expanding his focus beyond media ministry to the organization's vibrant healthcare outreach. He is the chief spokesperson for HCJB Global's efforts to be the voice and hands of Jesus around the globe.
Wayne holds a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and a minor in radio/TV speech from the University of Minnesota and a master's degree in theology from Free Lutheran Theological Seminary in Minneapolis. He has served as an adjunct professor at Northwestern College and Bethel University. Wayne is a founding member of Need Him Ministries and serves on the board of National Religious Broadcasters.
Before taking the role as president of HCJB Global on Nov. 1, 2008, Wayne served as a board member for the organization for 2½ years. Before that he partnered with HCJB Global during his many years at Northwestern College Radio. The partnerships included funding the launch of HCJB Global's satellite ministries in Latin America and Russia.
Wayne is married to Norma Pederson, and together they minister around the world to HCJB Global staff and partners. The couple has two children, Christy and Michelle, and are proud to have nine grandchildren.
