You can transfer cash or appreciated securities, during your lifetime or through your estate plan after your lifetime, to World Radio Missionary Fellowship, Inc. requiring that we pay you, your spouse, or another income beneficiary (using cash only) an income for life.
A portion of the income received by the annuitant will be income tax-free, some will be treated as a long-term capital gain (if appreciated property is used for the gift), and the remainder will be taxed as ordinary income. In addition, a portion of the capital gain taxes otherwise payable on the sale of the long term appreciated asset can be avoided when the gift is made by the donor for his or her own lifetime.
