Security Statement
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. HCJB Global has taken extensive steps to ensure that any data transmitted by our users cannot be intercepted, viewed, or blocked by unauthorized parties.
HCJB Global ensures the security of all protected data transmitted to and from our site through the use of Digital IDs, in combination with a server-based encryption technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
A Digital ID is the electronic equivalent of a driver license, passport, or business license. It is issued by a trusted third party called a Certification Authority (CA) It takes steps to establish the identity of the people or organizations to whom it issues Digital IDs. Once the CA has established an organization's identity, it issues an electronic “certificate” to the organization, which is then used to enable secure transmission of information.
The CA used by HCJB Global on this site is provided by our third-party secure server provider, eCartSoft. These Secure Server Digital IDs allow any web server to implement the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, which is the standard technology for secure, web-based communications. SSL capability is built into server hardware, but it requires a Digital ID in order to be functional. We are using 128-bit encryption for a high level of protection.
