The North Africa Shortwave Broadcasting Project (also called Akhbar Mufriha or Joyful News Station) delivers a powerful signal across North Africa. Arabic programs air on leased transmitter time from a shortwave site in the U.K.

Avant Ministries, IBRA Radio, Arab World Ministries and others help with Arabic radio program production and listener follow-up. The broadcast began in 1998 with programs in Arabic, Tachelhit, Hassaniya and Pulaar.
