As HCJB Global Hands expands worldwide, its long history of medical education and training in Ecuador is a key resource. In Ecuador, HCJB Global is involved in medical, nursing and paramedical training in association with major universities in the country. Staff members instruct students as externs and interns as well as ophthalmology and family practice residencies in medicine. The nursing education program is designed to give practical, hospital-based experience to students at the undergraduate level.

HCJB Global is also involved in extensive education through its community development efforts and is increasingly involved in strategic training efforts with partners in countries such as Malawi, Ukraine, and India.
