Community Development is a department of HCJB Global’s Healthcare Division in Ecuador. The purpose of community development is to provide preventive and curative healthcare for rural people who could not easily take advantage of HCJB hospitals.

Community Development includes family practice clinics—both urban and rural, a medical mobile clinic ministry, a tropical disease/parasite laboratory, clean water projects and programs to train rural health workers.
